Trees are another source of stairs. Farming them gives you building supplies without requiring an elimination, which is useful when you need more ways to reach elevated positions.
Build Stairs to Control Height
Stairs let you create a route upward instead of remaining on the same ground level as nearby opponents. Reaching high ground changes your position relative to other players and can give you a clearer firing angle across the blocky environment.
Because stairs are a collected resource, building without a purpose can leave you with fewer pieces when you actually need height. Stairs are limited → unnecessary construction consumes your supply → save them for useful climbs or combat positioning.
