KourStrike IO cover

Here's a quick look at the game:

KourStrike.io is a multiplayer first-person shooter in the Kour/LEGiON game lineup, built specifically around Search and Destroy combat. Instead of treating every elimination as the main objective, each round gives the two opposing sides different jobs: attackers work toward planting the bomb, while defenders try to stop the plant or defuse the bomb afterward.

Winning a Search and Destroy Round

KourStrike.io divides players into attacking and defending teams. On the attacking side, move toward a bomb site, deal with defenders, and complete the plant. After the bomb is active, protecting the site becomes the priority because surviving defenders can still retake the area and defuse it.

Defenders need to prevent that sequence. Stopping the attackers before a successful plant can secure the round, while a planted bomb changes the task into reaching the site and completing a defuse. This objective structure makes controlling the bomb area more important than simply chasing opponents around the map.

Movement and Shooting Controls

Use WASD to move and the mouse to aim. Fire with the left mouse button, and press Space to jump. Weapon and utility slots can be selected with 1, 2, and 3.

Several versions of the game's control guide also assign E to interactions such as defusing and Tab to match information such as the scoreboard. Because planting and defusing determine Search and Destroy rounds, knowing the interaction control is especially important when fighting around an objective.

Playing Around the Bomb Site

Attackers gain more from securing the objective than from wandering away in search of another elimination. Once the bomb has been planted, staying in positions that let you challenge an approaching defender makes it harder for the opposing team to reach the defuse.

Defenders face the opposite problem. A planted bomb creates time pressure, so retaking the site requires both reaching the objective and surviving long enough to interact with it. Check the area before committing to a defuse, since attackers can remain nearby specifically to interrupt that attempt.

KourStrike.io therefore combines standard FPS movement and aiming with a round objective that changes how each team should approach the same map. Your immediate goal depends on your side, but winning consistently comes down to protecting the bomb objective as carefully as you handle the gunfight around it.
